I never realized that traveling really could be fun. In the past, I had done a lot of traveling, but only enjoyed it once I reached the destination.  Even when I reached the hotel, things seemed to rushed and rigid for me.  When a friend of mine suggested we go flashpacking I was interested.  I liked the idea of taking off with a very loose itinerary and just enough clothing for two days.  I packed all my electronics that I wanted, a toothbrush and a change of clothes.  I don’t think I will ever travel any other way if I can help it.
