Stop and Shop
February 20, 2010 9:10 am SportsMy dad left home when he was 17 and drove across the nation on a motorcycle. He was a cross between a pilgrim, an angry teenager, and a renegade. He ended up settling down in Arizona after stopping in a little shop to pick up some Motorcycle Goggles. The cashier caught his eye and they struck up a conversation that he claims lasted for the next twenty years. I suppose that’s where I come in. Mom and Dad are still happily married, and it all started with a stop at an obscure little shop for some motorcycle goggles. I sure am glad Dad needed them.
