My twenty year old wife is about to give birth this coming September. My employer is kind of strict when it comes to absences. For this reason, I have to research on parental maternity leave scope. My wife needs me by her side when she gives birth. This will be her first time to give birth and she is very vocal that she is kind of nervous about it. I am having the same fear, as well. But I am trying not to let her know about it. I want her to draw strength from me and letting her feel that I am afraid of what’s about to happen will do her no good. I am trying not to think about negative matters. I just focus on the excitement that becoming a new father brings.
