One of the things my current employer looked at was whether my degree was what they considered legitimate. Many online schools offer accredited online college degrees and fortunately, I graduated from such a school. What I realized was this is important enough for an employer to ask and in fact, i didn’t consider it until after restarting my education after taking what felt like a neverending break from school. I was able to work full time and go to school, without worrying about whether I could make it from work to school on time. This peace of mind allowed me to complete my education in less time than I thought.
