When our son made the switch from skiing to snowboarding, he had difficulty finding the best wide snowboards. He originally just bought a couple of used boards to get started, but then he realized that he needed wider boards for his feet. He’s invested quite a bit of his own money into this sport and only wants the best of everything. There’s not much I can say about the money he spends since he’s using his own money and he earns it himself. I just hope that eventually he’ll start socking some away for the future. But that’s just a mom talking.
