The actual mid-foot of the foot is an essential structure regarding natural biomechanics. Various items are responsible for stablising the mid-foot stable. If this posterior tibial muscle can no longer complete it’s purpose the mid-foot of the foot falls producing pain and accelerating disability. This is known as posterior tibial tendon dysfunction.
