It is completely understandable as to way a buyer would want to offer the lowest possible price for a home they are interested in. The proper way to handle dealing with a seller who may be asking too high a price is to offer something reasonable to start with and to rely on your real estate agent to make the case for way you think the home is worth what you are offering.
