Unfortunately, the house across the street from our house was recently involved in a terrible fire. My husband was actually the first one on the scene and while their were no people involved there were a great number of animals that he was able to rescue. One of the rescues that he brought out on an adrenaline rush were numerous parrot cages. I think now because of the situation the people in the house are not able to take all their animals to their next location and as a reward we get one of the parrots for our own. I am sad for the fire, but happy for our reward.
