While on vacation in a hotel, my husband nearly suffered a serious injury. He came out of the bathroom dripping wet, and slipped on the tiled floor of the hotel room at the first step outside. The accident could have been far worst than the soreness he felt for a day or two. But because of it, we got home and completed assessed our bathroom safety. We are changing out tiles to non-slip, adding some bathroom grab bars while we’re about it. I know he fell outside the bathroom in the hotel, but it just raised out awareness that much more. He could have hit his head.
