When I first got married I had a miscarriage and I was so scared it may happen again that I gave up on children and started taking birth control. The older I got the more my husband pushed the desire to have a family. I never told him my biggest fears but I was willing to go to the doctor to find out what my chance were of getting pregnant after taking birth control. Once I was in the doctor’s office alone I explain to him that I was really scared about having a miscarriage if I was ever to become pregnant again.
