When handling a pallet truck,at the very beginning make sure that you do not overload the pallet truck. Each pallet truck is designed to carry up to a certain amount of weight. You should always check the controls, fork and the hoists and if you find anything wrong do not use the truck. You must make sure that it is always serviced and you can do this through an authorized servicing agent.

Make sure you check for water, oil or any other liquid on the floor of the building as the operator or the truck may slip on it, causing a major accident.
