Thousands of people get on Facebook everyday to communicate with people that they don’t normally see. Sometimes we even talk with people we wish we didn’t have to see, hoping that they will be satisfied with electronic communication and wouldn’t really want to get together. Of course, maybe that’s just me. I have a friend who works for a Sanyo air conditioner distributor in Minnesota and who I don’t get to talk to more than once a year. However, on Facebook I can keep up with everything he’s doing throughout the week. (Let’s just say that he’s one of those guys who posts every part of his day online.) Anyway, it’s nice to be able to keep up with him, even if I live in California.
